Fuel Guide

How Fuel Works

Fuel is LiftOff's platform reward system. It gives makers a simple way to turn activity, completed tasks, and special platform rewards into extra visibility and savings across parts of the launch flow.

What Fuel Is

Fuel works a lot like a loyalty point system. As you participate on LiftOff, complete dashboard tasks, and take part in platform activity, you can earn Fuel that stays in your account and can later be used across selected launch tools.

The goal is simple: reward users for contributing to the platform, then let them put those rewards back into their own launches when they want more reach or lower costs.

How You Earn Fuel

A major source of Fuel comes from tasks shown inside your dashboard. When you complete a task, you may be awarded a defined amount of Fuel. Some tasks may pay out small amounts, while others can give more based on what was completed.

Fuel can also be granted through platform events, admin-created promotions, and other special occasions. That means not every Fuel reward has to come from the same system. LiftOff can create limited campaigns or one-off reward opportunities when needed.

How Fuel Is Used

Fuel can be spent to boost products. In practical terms, that means giving a product more points so it can climb higher in LiftOff's daily, weekly, and monthly rankings. A stronger position in those rankings gives the product more visibility across the platform.

Fuel can also be used toward paid launch options. If a launch option supports Fuel, you may be able to use a certain amount to reduce its price or fully cover it. This makes Fuel useful not only for visibility, but also for lowering the cost of selected launch upgrades.

Advertisements are not included in this system. Fuel is meant for supported boost and launch-option flows, not for replacing ad purchases.

Why It Exists

Fuel gives makers another way to grow on LiftOff without relying only on direct payment every time they want extra exposure. By rewarding participation first and letting users spend those rewards later, the system creates a clearer connection between being active on the platform and getting more value back from it.

If you think of airline loyalty points, the idea is similar: you earn value through activity, then spend it on benefits that make future use of the platform more effective.

Progressive Fuel Tiers

Fuel also powers a four-tier loyalty system. Every user starts in the first tier and can progress upward by earning more Fuel over time. The more lifetime Fuel you collect, the higher your tier becomes.

Spending Fuel does not erase your long-term progress. LiftOff also tracks lifetime Fuel, which records how much Fuel you have earned overall. That lifetime total is what determines tier status, even if some of your currently available Fuel has already been spent.

Tier Comparison

Similar to airline loyalty programs, each tier improves the benefits available to the user. Exact platform perks may evolve over time, but the structure stays the same: higher tiers receive stronger advantages.
